About

I moved to Ireland from the United States in 1997, and quickly realized I'd arrived in a landscape photographer's paradise. Ireland is truly a beautiful place, and I'm very fortunate to have this amazing landscape on my doorstep.

I’ve been taking photographs as long as I can remember, but my interest in photography really blossomed when I took a photography class in the 9th grade. The teacher was not the most creative photographer, but he instilled an understanding of the technicalities of exposure such as shutter speed, aperture, and film speed, which has served me well. I spent many years shooting black-and-white film and printing in the darkroom, but like many photographers, I converted to digital in the early part of the last decade. I still have a soft spot for black-and-white images, and you'll find many of them in my galleries.
